The 50-year-old Johnson, however, recently announced the arrival of one of his most loved and watched movies of all time, Moana in a live-action format. Johnson would take to Instagram to make this announcement and how the work has already begun.

The Rock describes how Moana is based on his culture, the place where he grew up, and how it shaped the story of the film. After years of constant criticism and love, Dwayne Johnson is finally ready to unleash his story. He would open up on the film, and how different people, places, and culture has inspired the very core of the film.

He further described how the character of Maui was based on one of his most personal relationships, “we found so much inspiration for Maui in the mana and the presence of my late grand father, the legendary High Chief, Peter Maivia. He would walk in, light up the room, the energy, the tattoos, the hair, the bod.”

The Brahma Bull of WWE would conclude the video by claiming that the work is still early in progress, and there is still enough work to be done on it. Fans are now excited to see what Dwayne Johnson brings in life and form, what was one of the most beautiful animated films of all time.
