It looks like the Survivor Series PLE has brought along with it a few returns. Amidst the rumors of CM Punk returning to WWE, Randy Orton’s return has been confirmed. While Randy Orton is set to make his long-awaited comeback to WWE, there are rumors that a few more returns might be on the horizon.

Survivor Series could record the return of another forgotten superstar

According to rumors, a former tag-team champion could make their way to the ring on the WarGames Eve. The said tag team is the Authors of Pain. It is rumored that both Akam and Rezar will return to the promotion after two long years. They were last seen on the March 9 episode of Raw back in 2020. There they had defeated The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders in their supposedly last appearance.

The duo has won two championship titles as a tag team. They were the crowned tag-team champions at NXT and had also secured tag-team gold during their stint at WWE Raw. While they have been absent for a long time, the Raw tag-team championship title is now with another duo, Finn Balor and Damian Priest.

Will Survivor Series give Judgment Day new enemies?

Currently, the Undisputed Tag Team champions of WWE are Finn Balor and Damian Priest. The title is an amalgamation of the SmackDown tag team title and the Raw tag team title. The duo holds both titles making them the undisputed winners. Even though their reign was broken by Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso for a brief time, they quickly regained their titles.  Although it came with some meddling by the Judgment Day, they still are the champions. If the AOP does return, chances are they might target the titles held by Finn Balor and Damian Priest.

But it won’t come easy for them. They should remember that messing with one member of Judgment Day means messing with the whole stable. For this, they have to come up with a plan. It would definitely involve enlisting help from other members of the red brand. While their current stand is still unknown, they might ask for help from the current faces of the brand. This could mean that along with Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso, AOP will also add to the long list of enemies that Judgment Day has. Would you like to see the Authors of Pain challenge Judgment Day?

One take at a time

For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let’s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
