WrestleMania 40 emanating from the majestic city of Philadelphia might be billed as the greatest-ever mania in history, but it didn’t bring any good to Seth Rollins. He lost the Tag-Team bout with Cody Rhodes to The Rock and Roman Reigns on Night 1. But the real blow came in the form of a devastating title loss at the hands of Drew Mclntyre. But even that was not it. He ended up falling on the ground with a black eye after taking a nasty kick from the Scotsman. The clip of Rollins crouching in pain went viral in moments, leaving fans in deep concern.

Seth Rollins took multiple tears to his body during WrestleMania XL

Rollins has had terrible luck with injuries for the past few months. He suffered a Grade 2 tear of his MCL and a torn meniscus earlier this year. However, The Visionary gathered strength to revert to the ring ahead of WrestleMania after a short hiatus. He resumed his run in full swing, teaming up with Cody Rhodes in his epic title fight against Roman Reigns. Rollins kept his promise but at the cost of his own safety. Even after a failed attempt to retain his Heavyweight Championship, Rollins showed up in the main event to help Cody Rhodes. He took a brutal chair shot by the Tribal Chief, which ultimately cost Reigns the belt.
