Bayley, the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship, made a comeback at SummerSlam last year alongside her team consisting of Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky. Her teammates Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky won the Women’s tag-team championships before losing the titles to the team of Lita and Becky Lynch. Unfortunately, just after WrestleMania, Lynch would lose the titles to the team of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

Then Liv Morgan would suffer an undisclosed injury, and Rodriquez would be forced to relinquish her title. The women’s tag-team championship has failed to see a long-lasting run ever since its inception and has always fallen prey to some obstacles.
