AEW superstar and former TNT Champion, Sammy Guevara had been expecting a child with his wife and Brazilian wrestler Taynara Melo Guevara for some time. In May, the couple announced that they were expecting a new member of their family.  

Sammy Guevera took to social media on November 29th to share the much-anticipated arrival of his newborn. He tagged his wife and fellow AEW superstar, Tay Melo in the post. In response, the couple received warm messages from fans and other superstars.

Wrestling world pours in warm wishes to the Guevaras

The power couple from AEW shared a picture from the delivery bed that showed Taynara breast-feeding the newborn. Sammy also put a caption on the picture that read, “Luna Melo Guevara 💫 11/28/2023 8.4lbs and 24+ hours of labor.”

From the caption and the comments, it can be assumed that the newborn is a girl and she is named Luna Melo Guevara. The newest member of the Guevara seems to be starting off on a strong foot, weighing a healthy 8.4 lbs.

As soon as the news broke out, many superstars from AEW and WWE congratulated the young couple. They gave their regards for the well-being of the child and couple. The list includes Jade Cargill, Matt Cardona, and Matt Hardy. 

Pro-Wrestling Community showers warms wishes to Guevara family

The list includes wrestlers and other production members from WWE and AEW promotions who congratulated Sammy Guevara on becoming a father.

Some of the names from WWE includes Jade Cargill, Natalya, Jessica McKay, Indi Hartwell, and Raquel Rodriguez.

Jade Cargill commented, “Congrats!!!!”. Meanwhile, former World Champion Natalya commented, “Congratulations!!!!!!!!!“. Former NXT Champion Indi Hartwell wrote, “Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️🥹” and the Mexican powerhouse Raquel Rodriguez commented, “Felicidades linda 😍❤️ she’s beautiful”

Sammy Guevara also received warm wishes from his AEW mates as well. WWE Legend Matt Hardy said, “CONGRATS, Mom & Dad! ❤️“, and host Renee Paquette commented, “Beautiful!! Congrats!”.

With the Guevara family welcoming a little one into their unit, it seems like the Guevaras will take a much needed break from the ring.
