Bianca Belair Has a Reason to Be Disappointed Despite Creating History by Beating Iyo Sky at WWE Backlash 2023

Fans were treated to a stellar opening match at WWE Backlash. As the event started in Puerto Rico, Bianca Belair faced off against Iyo Sky while defending her WWE RAW Women’s Championship. However, Belair saw the momentum turn against her as fans in Puerto Rico started booing the EST. Belair has been the champion since WrestleMania 38 and has been on a roll. But, fans now seem to get bored with her run and want a change.

The match was filled with several high-action moments and brutal action. It saw several extreme spots including an avalanche powerbomb by Belair to Sky and a KOD where Sky landed terribly on her face and escaped a near concussion.

Despite these action-filled moments fans were not convinced of Belair’s reign to continue and showed their disapproval. They continued booing the EST as she ended the match by pinning Sky despite interference from the Damage CTRL.

Bianca Belair was disappointed as she fell victim to a massive crowd of people booing her, despite being a face. Waves of disapproval and boos overshadowed Belair’s victory in Puerto Rico against The Genius of the Sky.

In spite of creating history and becoming the longest reigning WWE Raw Women’s Champion, Belair would be upset at the crowd reaction she got. This be the start of a heel turn. A similar thing happened to Rollins back in 2019, and is it time for the fans to witness a villainous EST?

Belair has always been a fan favorite and has come a long way. After suffering from depression and other problems, she fought them off to come and inspire the fans. However, is it time for her to choose the other side?
