Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has dwindled into obscurity after his match got scrapped at the last minute at WrestleMania 39. While anyone would feel angry about this situation, Lashley went to Twitter to look for other people talking about his absence at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals.’

Luckily, many people were talking about the usage of such an accomplished wrestler at ‘Mania. Lashley promptly liked a lot of such response on Twitter which showed the fans’ response to his exclusion from the biggest event of the year.

Bobby Lashley took to Twitter to display his disgruntled mood. But he steered clear of posting anything himself on social media. Instead, he took the help of his fans. He went through the tweets that talked about his match getting scraped and how Triple H and WWE didn’t do the right thing. These are some of the reactions that he liked:

Not displaying Lashley’s strength and presence on the biggest stage is truly a missed opportunity. But more than that, fans believed it was disrespectful to the man himself. Despite not being featured on the card, Lashley’s name was still trending as no one saw him in the ring.

Even after Lashley came out to the entrance area, he didn’t make it to the ring. After his Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal win at SmackDown, WWE announced that he would come out at ‘Mania. This led fans to believe that Lashley will have a match in the ring, but all we got was seeing Lashley come out and pose with the trophy and nothing else.

This comes as a surprise given the path Lashley has been on following McMahon’s leave last year. Not only was Lashley having amazing matches, but his credibility among the fans was building as well.

Bobby Lashley’s current career path in the WWE

Last year saw Lashley win the WWE Championship on WWE Day 1, and defend it in the Elimination Chamber. Then, he went on to have a program with Omos. After that, Lashley got into a feud with a returning Goldberg and got a win over him.

When Brock Lesnar made his return after SummerSlam, he hunted Lashley and the two had major brawls every other week on RAW. This led to another match between them which saw Lesnar victorious. The two had another match albeit underwhelming at Elimination Chamber, which saw the All- Mighty win by disqualification.

Fans hoped to see a bigger match at WrestleMania, but the creative had a different plan for Lashley. They wanted him to work with Bray Wyatt.

That match with Wyatt was supposed to happen at WrestleMania, but that fell through because of Wyatt having some physical issues. Instead, he was left without a match at ‘Mania and fans didn’t like it all. Only time will tell what happens with Lashley in the company now.
