WWE has seen a fair share of legends over the years, but only a few come close to the sheer aura created by Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, John Cena, and a few more. WWE always portrayed these stars as larger-than-life characters, which helped elevate their position among the fans.

The Golden Era of WWF saw several superstars rising from the ashes and reaching new heights of success. These stars became synonymous with the term ‘legends’. However, over the years, several new superstars came but none could reach the status of these legends.

Long before the dominance of John Cena, The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, and more, there existed Andre the Giant. The former WWE Superstar was a myth in himself. A true legend, he was known for many of his achievements and feats throughout his career.

Notably, Andre the Giant was famous for throwing 19 people over the top rope in a battle royal, as well as picking up, The Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger in public. Andre the Giant, however, had a unique talent. He was able to drink large amounts of alcohol without being sick.

His friends have reported him as being able to drink 106 beers in 46 minutes, drinking a case of wine before a wine. And, even four bottles of wine and 25 beers, after a match was over.

Pat Patterson once revealed that Andre drank extremely heavily, and even passed out inside a life once. However, he was a true legend, and even years after his death, his legacy still lives on.

Hulk Hogan is one of the most popular pro wrestlers to ever set foot inside the ring. His physique and charisma were unbeatable, and he was a major reason behind WWF’s success back then. People would travel long distances to only see him.

However, one of the most iconic moments for WWE came, when Hulk Hogan came to face Andre the Giant. Hulk Hogan’s body slamming Andre the Giant on the mat is a legendary moment that still lives on, and will continue to do so.

However, while performing the body slam, Hogan suffered something unfortunate. Hogan tore his bicep while slamming the giant. The incident occurred at WrestleMania 3 and was completely unplanned. Lifting a man like Andre the Giant resulted in Hogan tearing off his biceps.
