WWE was back in India after a long six-year gap. The Indian fans couldn’t get enough of the wrestling fever with an array of superstars like John Cena, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens gracing the night. That said, India’s very own Khali hasn’t laced up his boots but managed to grab attention regardless, declaring his desire for one more wrestling match with WWE. It saw fans pondering over who could be the best opponent for the former World Champion’s final showdown.

Shortly after a promising main roster debut in 2006, Khali got the better of The Undertaker. Then there was no looking back. He won the acclaimed World Heavyweight Championship and etched his legacy in the promotion in later years. However, WWE’s less expansion in India led the higher-ups to let him go in 2014.

Despite not being in an active contract with the behemoth, the company invited him to attend last night’s non-televised WWE show due to his massive popularity on Indian soil.

In a shocking turn of events, Khali stepped onto the stage and announced to a sold-out crowd that he still had gas left in his tank and would be back to take on any of the WWE giants for one more time.

Then the seven-footer proceeded to challenge the current kingpin of WWE, Roman Reigns. Nonetheless, fans have some more names roaming in their heads.

Roman Reigns and Omos lead a bunch of fan-picked superstars as The Great Khali’s potential final opponent

Fans haven’t seen The Great Khali dancing in the squared circle since his 2018 Royal Rumble engagement. Also, last year, the prized fighter shifted his fighting spirit to national politics. So, it was not wrong to assume that he was done with the business for good until he himself revealed that he had one more match left in him.

Now, the stunning revelation by the star went both ways. It elicits excitement and some eye-rolling at the same time.

Some fans hoped for a genuine Roman Reigns vs. The Great Khali match in the future. Although compared to their current status, it’s pretty unlikely to materialize.

The next fans’ pick is none other than the Nigerian giant, Omos. Many fans are seen bandying about an interesting bout between them considering their similar colossal size.

Some want Khali to smash WWE’s Ric Flair or Dominik Mysterio.

One user even advocated for a bigger fantasy match against fellow Indian blood, Satnam Singh, who competes in AEW. One fan also opted for Shanky as Khali’s last opponent.

Also, there are a few critics who took a dig at his physical fitness and termed the Hall of Famer as the worst performer in the last ten years.
