Hulk Hogan is one of the most popular WWE Superstars of all time. Every wrestling fan from the 80s and the 90s growing up idolized Hogan. During the golden age of WWE, he enjoyed the epitome of success and became the face of the company.

Hogan was an integral part of WWE’s major success. Later when he moved to WCW, he reinvented himself into Hollywood Hogan, a heel. His gimmick also got extremely over with the fans as well. Similarly, in boxing, Mike Tyson was the ultimate deal. Iron Mike enjoyed a dominant run during his career, winning 50 of his total fights while losing just 6.

Mike Tyson was inducted in to the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame, by Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Tyson also shares a good relationship with ‘The Real American’ Hulk Hogan. On several occasions, both of them were found and captured with each other. ‘Iron’ Mike and The Hulkster were two of the greatest athletes ever in their respective fields.

Both Hogan and Tyson were some of the biggest stars of 1980s and 1990s. Hogan shared a throwback picture of theirs on social media with a wholesome caption. He wrote, “This is one of my favorite pics,years before the sports world had us going at each other,only love4theChampHH.”

The picture showed Hulk Hogan embracing Mike Tyson warmly with full of love. The picture tells how much close both of these entertainers are and shows the true nature of their brotherhood.

Before Tyson bursted on to the pro-wrestling scene in 1998 as the special enforcer between Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin’s match at WrestleMania 14, he was supposed to arrive in WWE in the early 90s.

The “Baddest Man on the Planet,”  was supposed to be a referee in the WWF Championship match between Hogan and Randy Savage in 1990. However, after his disappearance from the public after his loss to Buster Douglas at the Tokyo Dome, removed him from the scene. And WWE went forward and inserted Douglas into the match between Hogan and Savage. After the match, Douglas even knocked Randy Savage out.

It was revealed by Bruce Prichard that a feud was slated between Hogan and Tyson, however neither of them wanted to lose the match as well. Both of them were the top stars of that era, and a feud between them would have been every combat sport’s fan’s dream come true moment.
