Hulk Hogan had his own band ‘Ruckus’ before entering the world of pro wrestling

The 69-year-old Hogan had been interested in music from a very young age. He spent around one decade of his life playing fretless bass guitar in the state of Florida. Once his band started receiving several gigs, Hogan decided on dropping out of the University of South Florida.

In an interview with Vice, Hogan stated how even various wrestlers of that era would visit their band during their musical shows. Hogan and his band ‘Ruckus’ mostly played rock music. However, he further revealed how they mostly went into covers but also did four to five originals, because they did not stay together for long.
The former nWo member soon had to bid adieu to his music career due to his commitment and sheer determination towards wrestling and weight-lifting. He soon ventured into the world of pro-wrestling and the rest is history.
