CM Punk Will Never Wrestle on AEW Dynamite Again Despite His Return Almost Imminent, Recent Reports Reveal

If there is one wrestler who made the headlines without wrestling at all this year, it is CM Punk. The former WWE champion has been away from the ring ever since his fallout at AEW All Out backstage brawl. But that might change very soon. For weeks, many reports have claimed that Tony Khan has finally got Punk to come back to AEW again.

Also, while not talking about AEW at all for months, Punk has been making comments here and there. Wrestlers like Dax Hardwood have also come out supporting Punk. But despite his comeback being nearly confirmed, we might not see him in Dynamite or Rampage, the Wednesday and Friday AEW shows.

Both Punk and Rampage benefitted from coming out at the same time. But this also means that we won’t see Punk at AEW’s primary shows or interact with potentially great opponents.

From a business perspective, this is a tried and trusted method for Khan. From the fans’ perspective, this is a highly debated topic online. While some think that AEW needs Punk back to spruce up the competition and get back in the headlines, others think of this as a mistake.
