Cody Rhodes Gets Personal With the WWE Universe After Performing His “Last” Match in Arena

On the Road to WrestleMania 40, there have been and will be many memorable moments. It is understandable considering the nature of things going on. Dwayne Johnson’s inclusion in the story has made a lot of things far more intense and personal and Seth Rollins has stated that he is partly responsible for making Roman Reigns the monster he is today.

Apart from that, Drew McIntyre finally getting his chance to fight at WrestleMania once again. Additionally, The Uso’s are facing off against each other and Bayley’s betrayal has all added up to a high-on-emotion WrestleMania. However, ahead of the actual show, Cody Rhodes happened to stumble upon the significance of a particular memory and took a step back to acknowledge it with the fans.

WWE’s latest house show was at the James Brown Arena in Augusta, Georgia. Following the show, the American Nightmare reminded fans of an interesting fact. “You guys know this is our last wrestling show ever in this arena.”, he said. After saying that, he added, ” We have to celebrate that together because this is the biggest crowd this arena has ever had for pro wrestling. So what are we gonna do to immortalize the situation?”

Rhodes suggested that they all should click a picture together. After that, the two-time Royal Rumble winner could be seen in the ring posing so that the fans standing behind him are covered in the photograph. He clicked multiple photos and tried to get as many fans in the pictures as possible.

The first one to volunteer to do so is his sister, Teil Rhodes. Upon coming across a job opening for a writer/producer at WWE, she tweeted, “Fine, I’ll do it.”

Another star who could support him in his fight is his brother, Dustin Rhodes, f.k.a. Goldust. A fan had tweeted that Reigns should be aware that Dustin Rhodes might enter the ring to help his brother. What no one was expecting was that the Hall of Fame prospect would end up liking the tweet. This has led to strong speculation that he will show up at WrestleMania 40.
