John Cena is one of the most well-known faces in the wrestling industry. After experiencing a failed bodybuilding career, Cena would find himself in the pro wrestling industry. After being in the indies, and the OVW, he would enter the WWE main roster, and soon rise up the ranks.
Cena was one of the top names on the roster. He would leave WWE and join Hollywood to pursue his dream of being an actor. Following the footsteps of his former fellow wrestlers, Batista and The Rock, Cena would enter Hollywood and is currently a marquee actor in the industry.

Peacemaker, a notable project of Cena, became a massive hit among fans and critics alike. Peacemaker is a part of the DC comics franchise and is a morally gray character who is an anti-her0. He would make his debut in the film Suicide Squad as the character alongside Idris Elba and Margot Robbie.
Soon, after the film became a major hit, a show centered on the character made its way to television. The series premiered on 13th January 2022 and was created by James Gunn, the current CEO of the DCEU. Recently, James Gunn revealed a major announcement related to Peacemaker, and the fans lost their calm over it.

Recently on the internet, when a fan asked about John Cena and his future status in the franchise, Gunn had a response ready. He would take to Twitter to reveal major news about Cena’s future as Peacemaker. He would write, “Yes after Superman.”

However, as per Gunn, the season two of Peacemaker is scheduled to release after Superman: Legacy. While fans were awaiting a confirmation on season two of Peacemaker, they have finally received it. The season two of John Cena’s series is now confirmed, and has a potential release date as well.

As per reports, John Cena would now don his superhero costume again after Superman: Legacy. However, this Superman film will be a reboot of the Henry Cavill led franchise. The plot for Peacemaker Season two is yet to be revealed but is rumored to be a cross between other DC projects.
While Batista donned his makeup as Drax in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy, his arch-nemesis John Cena is now a pivotal character in James Gunn’s Peacemaker. The Rock could also faceoff against a familiar foe on television if Gunns decides to bring back the character of Black Adam for the DCEU.
