“I think his résumé is Hall of Fame worthy”, he said, implying that he believes that Rhodes’ career has been fulfilling in its way and by the standards of the industry. Calaway concluded by saying that he believes Dust is someone who is “dedicated to the business” for his active contributions even after his retirement.

Dustin Rhodes had plenty of short stints at WWE. His first stint began back in 1990 and he continued making appearances till 2019 when he officially retired.

Dustin Rhodes giving back to the industry

Cody Rhodes’ half-brother, who was at one point his tag-team partner, made sure to give back to the industry. The wrestling veteran, with 30 years of experience, created his own wrestling school called the Rhodes Wrestling Academy. The academy, located in Texas, offers a place for newbies and rookies to polish their skills, not just in-ring skills.

This also includes how to cut a promo. Along with that, he educates the students about financial matters and various terminologies that are usually included in official contracts. The academy was established in 2020, while he was still signed under All Elite Wrestling. Apart from that, the academy is gender inclusive, which by most is considered a progressive approach in the community. Do you agree with The Undertaker’s statement?
