Despite Being at War With Becky Lynch, Trish Stratus Takes a Cheeky Dig at WWE, Sides With Her Rival’s Fans

In the world of WWE, women wrestlers are rising to the top with every punch and flip, delivering eye-grabbing storylines that keep fans on the edge of their seats. Among the trailblazers of women’s wrestling, Trish Stratus shines as a WWE Hall of Famer, renowned for her spectacular performances in the 2000s before retiring as one of the biggest stars in the women’s division. On the other side of the ring, “The Man” herself, Becky Lynch, stands tall as a current WWE superstar, making history as one of the first women to headline WrestleMania.

While these two wrestling icons have been at each other’s throats in an intense feud, there might be a cheeky twist behind the scenes. WWE fans were expecting a heated rematch between Trish and Becky at SummerSlam. But much to their disappointment, WWE dropped the match from the lineup. Recently Stratus shared a post on her story, leaving fans surprised.

The WWE universe was excitedly buzzing as Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch locked horns in a heated rivalry. It all started when Lita and Becky Lynch reigned as the women’s tag team champions. Trish Stratus, however, had different plans, attacking Lita backstage and taking her spot in the match. But after their defeat, Stratus turned heel and attacked Lynch.

To the dismay of their fervent followers, WWE decided to pull the plug on the match at SummerSlam. A Becky Lynch fan account on Instagram shared a post that highlighted that Becky and Stratus were trending due to them being dropped from the SummerSlam match card.

While the reasons behind this unexpected decision remain in mystery, WWE still has a showdown planned between the two rivals on August 14th during Monday Night RAW in Canada. This isn’t the first time WWE has snubbed the women in its division in this fashion.

Charlotte Flair was not pleased with demoted WrestleMania match

Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch aren’t the first victims of WWE’s ever-changing strategies. Charlotte Flair voiced her opinion that she and Ripley should have been in the main event of WrestleMania Night One this year, as Ripley was the Royal Rumble winner.

She expressed her disappointment as this was something that happened a year before as well. Flair also questioned why the winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble match isn’t guaranteed a main event match at WrestleMania like the men’s match. Flair’s hints about Women not being treated fairly after WWE moved the much anticipated Lynch and Stratus clash from SummerSlam.
