Love him or hate him, you can’t ignore heel Drew McIntyre. His current run as a heel has garnered a lot of love from fans. Fans noticed him turning to the dark side ahead of the 2023 Survivor Series. While he did partner up with The Judgment Day initially, he is now running solo. After tearing CM Punk’s triceps and selling merchandise based on it, he is on his way to WrestleMania 40 to face off against Seth Rollins. McIntyre has achieved so much in such a short time that even WWE seems to be prioritizing him over a current main title champion.

Drew McIntyre is in demand, even ahead of WWE’s power couple

According to some insider reports, WWE has been prioritizing securing the Scottish Psychopath for another tenure at WWE. It has also been mentioned that he holds a higher priority as compared to his WrestleMania 40 opponent Seth Rollins and Rollins’ wife, Becky Lynch. WWE wants to secure the 38-year-old star first before Seth Rollins. According to Tom Colohue on Spoiler Warning, “WWE right now are not considering that the top priority, or in fact the highest priority of deals they need to strike. Instead they are focused on the deal for Drew McIntyre and the deal for Finn Balor, both of which are expected to expire sooner than June.”

Apart from that, there are some updates on one-half of the Kabuki Warriors, Asuka, and John Cena. While Asuka is on her way to securing the contract, John Cena might or might not be present at WrestleMania 40. He has shared his interest in work and has also made it clear that he is free on the WrestleMania XL weekend. However, it is yet to be seen whether that will happen or not.

But talking about Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins, WWE prioritizing McIntyre over Rollins might mean one thing, it is time for The Visionary to lose his title.

What Instigated Drew McIntyre to Turn Heel and Join Hands With The Judgement Day?

However, not many might know this but CM Punk will also come into play when this happens.

It has been announced by WWE that CM Punk will be present on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw which will be filmed in Chicago, Illinois. While fans are still unaware of his purpose, there has been some speculation that he might announce his involvement in WrestleMania 40. While Punk is currently a face at WWE, he is at odds with another face, Seth Rollins, and heel, Drew McIntyre. It is McIntyre who caused him the triceps injury due to which he is out of action and Punk has a score to settle with him.

Fans could expect CM Punk to announce that he is cleared by doctors and can now participate in the match. Following that, he might then state his desire to participate in a triple-threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship title. Another thing that he might do is declare himself to be the guest referee for the match.  This will add an extra layer to the already existing tension between the three. Do you think CM Punk will address Drew McIntyre’s achievement this Monday?
