Wrestling is famous for alliances and rivalries. It is what adds value to the sport’s storytelling and entertainment aspects. Wrestlers form real-life bonds with one another despite the scripted chaos. Being on the road for 365 days a year with a common goal forges an unbreakable bond. That said, Seth Rollins recently revealed who his best friend in the business is.

In fact, it is one of the most searched questions on the internet about Seth Rollins. Who is his best friend? While some of his fans would bet it is his wife, Becky Lynch, they would not be wrong. But aside from Becky Lynch, there is one star that Rollins shares a “non-romantic” bond with.

Without hesitation, Rollins said it was his wife; however, he further revealed the name of his best friend, with whom he doesn’t share a romantic relationship. The star in question was none other than Claudio Castagnoli, f.k.a. Cesaro.

He said, “If you were to ask me who my best non-romantic friend is, I would probably say it is Claudio Castagnoli. I think he’s probably my best friend. We’ve gone up and down the road together over a decade, in different promotions. And we still keep in close contact. I talk to him virtually every single day. He’s probably No. 1.”

Rollins and Castagnoli initially crossed paths on the independent wrestling scene. This came long before they ended up in the wrestling juggernaut, the WWE. The two stars have expressed their respect for each other on multiple occasions. The fact that Rollins stated that they keep in touch on a daily basis despite being in different wrestling promotions demonstrates the depth of their camaraderie.

While Castagnoli jumped ship and joined AEW in 2022, Rollins remained in WWE, continuing his journey to the top.

Aside from sharing a close friendship, the duo has had several fan-favorite matches against each other.

One of the most memorable matches between the two took place at Hell in a Cell in 2021. After a see-saw battle, The Swiss Superman prepared to take Rollins for a spin on his Giant Swing.

However, The Architect innovatively countered into a roll-up, securing the win. Nonetheless, the duo remain best of friends despite their heated on-screen rivalry. Fans have also wondered if Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are best friends given that they were stablemates before.
