Hanging with John Cena in the ring isn’t something that any wrestler can manage. Whether it might be wrestling or a mic segment, Cena’s proficiency in both is at the top tier. But a few days ago, a rookie in WWE sense did just that and fans loved it.

But that’s not all that he’s done. On SmackDown, he hung around on the mic and in the ring, with another legend and the fans are loving it.

Up-and-comer, who John Cena embarrassed on MITB, got into a segment with another legend

On the Grayson Waller Effect on SmackDown, Waller, the guy who hung around with Cena at MITB, introduced Edge as his guest. Waller named all of Edge’s great accolades and achievements, but at the end, he mentioned that Edge needs to be retiring soon and it is his last time in the Madison Square Garden building.

Edge took the microphone and reminded everyone of Waller’s segment with Cena at MITB. Then he proceeded to tell everyone that he wasn’t retiring and to prove it, he wrestled Waller in the rookie’s first main roster bout.

While the segment got a lot of traction on social media, there are two differing opinions from the fans. Either they hate on Edge and his performance here or they are loving WWE’s push of Waller.
