Pro wrestling may be a scripted sequence of events but it does carry some very real and genuine emotions, elements, and most importantly, backstories. During a heated exchange, Gunther said, “Little Mike Mizanin, some lil weirdo that got bullied in high school because he idolized all those heroes that they just named. And when you graduated from high school you pursued a career to become a WWE superstar and you finally got to meet your heroes. And they bullied you to make you understand because you do not belong in this sport.” Gunther referred to the bullying The Miz faced by WWE legends when he was still planting his feet in the company.

The Miz was treated indifferently by greats like JBL and Chris Benoit, who didn’t let him use the WWE locker room for changing. Because of this, The Miz was forced to use the backstage hallways and even restrooms meant for the non-wrestlers.

Gunther insisted that nothing had changed; according to him, The Miz still didn’t belong there. He then pushed The Miz, provoking him to throw a punch. While Gunther thought he would weaken The Miz with his dirty tricks, the A-lister responded with a staunch retaliation.

A skull-crushing experience for a soul-crushing attempt

While Gunther thought he could mess with Miz’s head with his soul-crushing words, he couldn’t have been more wrong. Instead, The Miz responded to his verbal low blow with a physical one, before delivering a nasty Skull-Crushing Finale.
