Did Hulk Hogan Really Have 24-inch Arms aka Pythons?

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has never shied away from showing off his physique. While he may not have the same physique as he did in his prime, the man still quite well built.

Interestingly, it is said that during his prime, Hulk Hogan had one of the most impressive physiques in WWE. In fact, his biceps would measure out to be 24 inches after a good vein-pumping workout. But, how true is that?

Did Hulk Hogan actually have 24-inch arms?

Of course, there isn’t any proof without a measuring tape around his biceps. However, there have been times where his arms were referred to as 24-inch pythons.

There was one instance during Hogan’s time with Memphis Wrestling when he appeared on a local talk show. The Hulk television series’ actor Lou Ferrigno joined him. The host introduced Hogan as the man with 24-inch biceps, who dwarfed “The Hulk”.

In fact, this comment led to the recognition of Hogan being heftier than Ferrigno. As a result, he started playing the character of Terry “The Hulk” Boulder during that time.

How big was Hulk Hogan in his prime?

The Hulkster stood tall at 6ft 7inches, weighed 300 lbs, and again, had 24-inch biceps. He could do shoulder presses with 495 lbs and bench press 550 lbs, which is quite a lot of iron.

Moreover, during his prime, Hogan had the strength to lift pro-wrestlers such as Andre The Giant!

However, he lost a couple inches from his height because of the multiple surgeries he’s had over the years.

Reportedly, his biceps were also referred to as pythons.

It’s believed that his biceps aka pythons were 24-inches during his prime.

Over time, he has lost some size. As of 2021, he had come down to his 8th grade weight, but still had popping biceps!

Now, if a man had 24-inch pythons at his prime, he deserves his own biopic! On top of that, his contributions to wrestling is something that needs to be showcased to the world in the best way possible.

So, Chris Hemsworth got the chance to play Hogan in the biopic. The actor had to train rather hard to reach the Hogan’s measurements, for the sake of accuracy.

Even Hogan appreciated the efforts Hemsworth put in to prepare for the role.

Hogan trains till date. The intensity differs considering his age, but the determination and passion to hit the iron remains the same.

As of 2021, there is no word on him coming back to WWE for a match. He does want to come back considering his last pro-wrestling in-ring match wasn’t with WWE.

However, the company and he are yet to decide on terms for a  future match.

His last appearance with WWE was at WrestleMania 37 as the host alongside Titus O’Neil.
