Sometimes fan arts lead to wonderful things. This time, it’s a mash up of two very well-known characters across the globe – WWE’s John Cena and Marvel’s Spider-Man.

One particular artist, Samuel Chevé, presumably someone who likes both the Universes, created an art using John Cena and Spider-Man’s suit. The background holds the words “Yes, I punched The Lizard”.

The writing is evidence that this art is about Marvel Universe’s new Spider-Man movie – Spider-Man: No Way Home. In the trailer it shows villains from different universe’s (previous Spider-Man movies) such as Doctor Octopus, The Lizard, Sandman, and others fighting against Spider-Man.

There is a scene where The Lizard charges, someone punches The Lizard. Assuming it’s Spider-Man (Tom Holland), he can also be seen fighting Sandman. Therefore, the fan-art is a play on the infamous joke about John Cena being invisible and his “You Can’t See Me” move.

Of course, the most common assumption is that anyone else helping Spider-Man (Tom Holland) fight The Lizard, Sandman, and Electro are the previous actors who played the role – Toby McGuire and Andrew Garfield. However, there’s no harm in expecting John Cena to take up the role of Spider-Man, and take down villains.

Let’s not forget, he is the babyface who destroys heels.

John Cena is making enormous strides in Hollywood

Even though it’s not confirmed if John Cena is Spider-Man in the new movie, he’s played other roles in major franchises during his career.

Not only did he bag the role of The Peacemaker in Suicide Squad 2, but also landed himself a separate television series for the character.

But, his genre is not limited to action movies. He starred in the movie Vacation Friends (rom-com). And, it was a huge hit. So much so that he has already signed a deal for the second part of the movie.

Undoubtedly, John Cena is a man with talent and skill. But, regardless of where he performs now, the WWE Television is always looking forward to him. This begs the question – When is The Champ coming back?
