This is going to be a major feat for Bobby Lashley. In the off-chance that he drops the title to Goldberg, he would still walk away with an achievement in his bag!
Should Bobby Lashley drop the title against Goldberg?
As a champion, Lashley has been great. He has defended the title against anyone who challenged him. In fact, he defended the title against former champion Drew McIntyre more than once. Finally, before their last match, Lashley put the stipulation that if he wins, McIntyre cannot challenge for the title till the time he’s champion.
Keeping this in mind, Lashley could drop the title to Goldberg and McIntyre can challenge for the title. However, it may be too early to end Lashley’s run as champion.

Moreover, Goldberg does not work full time with WWE. He only works for a couple of matches a year. As of now, he’s got around two more matches left. If that’s the case, even if Goldberg wins the title, he’ll have to drop it quickly. Lashley could win it back during the rematch for the WWE Championship title.
Nevertheless, Bobby Lashley has the potential to be a champion for a longer time. If all goes well for him, not only will he take part in his first SummerSlam, but also win it!
