“Don’t Promote These Criminals”: John Cena Accused of Committing a “Crime” on Global Television 15 Years Ago by 56-Year-Old WWE Hall of Famer

‘Hustle, Loyalty, Respect’, these three words ring in the ears of every wrestling fan out there. These three words happen to be John Cena‘s motto, and the fan follows them from the core of his heart. A baby face for the majority of his career, Cena never associated himself with any heel-ish activities.

However, recently, 56-year-old WWE Hall of Famer took to social media to accuse John Cena of committing a major crime years ago. The 56-year-old would blame Cena for something he did 15 years ago and ask the fans for a favor as well.

What crime has John Cena been accused of?

WWE legend and Hall of Famer JBL recently took to his social media profile to blame Cena for something he did 15 years ago. JBL accused John Cena of vandalism on global television and also asked the promotion and his fans not to promote such acts.

He said, “This was a crime, carried out on global television. Please don’t promote these criminals. I’m still trying to get over this.” He wrote this as a reply to another tweet that showed Cena and Cryme Tyme taking part in the vandalism and destroying JBL’s car.

They would hit the car, shatter its door and windows, and spray paint on its body. Vandalism is a serious crime, and JBL sincerely asked the fans not to promote such activities.

Cena and JBL shared a heated rivalry back in the day, and it was just one of those moments.

Why the feud between John Cena and JBL is special?

Throughout his career, both Cena and JBL had various feuds. However, Cena’s feud with JBL turned out to be a special point in his career. Cena was an upcoming star in 2005, and JBL was an already-established heel in the business.

Throughout their first rivalry in 2005, JBL would help build Cena. And finally, at WrestleMania 21, John Cena would defeat JBL to earn his first WWE Championship title. Cena would make his main roster debut in 2002 and win the championship in 2005.

Within a short span of three years, he came a long way, and John Bradshaw Layfield, aka JBL, had a major role to play in it. Although from there on, Cena went on to have several other major rivalries, his feud with JBL at WrestleMania 21 will always remain a special moment in his career.
