Former WWE Superstar Lana, also known as C.J. Perry, called out WWE for having double standards. Recently in an interview, she spoke about how Brock Lesnar walked away a few hours before SmackDown and still got to be at the main event. She referred to Sasha Banks and Naomi, who did that same a while back but got suspended from the company.

This did not sit well with Perry.

Talking about the issue with ‘Inside The Ropes’, Lana said, “The women are treated so differently than how the men are treated. And I just think the double standards have to finish and, I think this is a great example that it was all cool for Brock Lesnar to leave, but for those girls, they freaking dragged them through the mud.”

Further, Naomi and Lana were great friends but would be feuding on WWE. Keeping in mind their storyline, Lana wouldn’t post their pictures together, and thus tried to retain the viewer’s interest.

The wrestler also enjoys a huge social media following.

Additionally, she married ‘Rusev’ in the year 2016. ‘Rusev’ aka ‘Miro’ was also in the WWE but later switched over to AEW after he was cut off in 2020. Lana used to accompany him as the social ambassador in WWE.

Lana still loves entertainment wrestling and has nothing but respect for the sport. Hence, the Brock Lesnar incident brought many questions to her mind. If given the opportunity with fair rights, she is happy to return to WWE.
