Drew McIntyre Reveals the Lengths He Will Go to Defeat Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel

Seth Rollins has enjoyed his reign as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion for almost 150 days now. During this time, he faced many adversaries and successfully defended his title against them. After successfully fending off Shinsuke Nakamura with a broken back, Rollins thought he could attain some rest now. However, now a new challenger stands in front of him. With The Visionary set to face off against Drew McIntyre at Crown Jewel, The Scottish Warrior revealed the lengths he would go to snatch the belt from Rollins’s waist.
Seth Rollins might watch out for his back
Ahead of the Crown Jewel, a promo of Drew McIntyre was shown at this week’s Monday Night Raw. McIntyre, who is hell-bent on getting the title from Rollins, talked about his run at the promotion since 2020. He talked about the championship he had won against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36. McIntyre then lost it to Randy Orton, only to secure it back again. He again lost the title to The Miz at the Elimination Chamber in 2021. Apart from that, he talked about how the manner of his defeat while he was moments away from defeating Roman Reigns at the Clash at the Castle.

McIntyre said that he would not lose this opportunity to defeat Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel 2023. He said that he was ready to go to any extent to snatch the title from him, even if he had to break his former friend’s back. Drew McIntyre has expressed his anger against the faces of the promotion, especially Rollins, for not helping him against Reigns. Additionally, Rollins’s back injury was addressed in the media after the match was announced.

The Monday Night Messiah’s injury came to light after Shinsuke Nakamura turned against him by attacking his back on an episode of Raw. After that, he whispered “I know about your back” which absolutely terrified the 37-year-old star. In an episode of Logan Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive, Rollins talked about the origins of his ‘back story’. He said that he originally suffered the injury ‘back’ in 2019. Rollins’s two vertebrae in his lower back have suffered stress injury.
Apart from that he also admitted that he has multiple injuries throughout his body. “There are constant injuries. My knee has been bugging me since before WrestleMania (39). I was having an issue with that. My neck acting up.” This adds to the long list of injuries he has and also makes him an easy target. He has also admitted that his training is oftentimes affected by these injuries.
