On the WWE Raw Day 1 episode, fans were caught off guard when “Electrifying” started playing. While many fans were left surprised and excited, the fiancée of a former champion was no exception. While the clip of her reaction started circulating over the internet, The Brahma Bull gave a shout out to her who also is the company’s esteemed in-ring announcer.

Dwayne Johnson praises Samantha Irvin

WWE shared a clip of Samantha Irvin, who was surprised when Johnson entered the ring. While the clip is doing rounds on the internet, the 51-year-old star commented on it, saying, “Love this. She’s dope. @SamanthaTheBomb @WWE.” In the clip, Irvin was seen sitting at her usual spots at the Monday Night Raw. She started screaming out of excitement when Johnson’s entry theme song started playing. The ring announcer was then seen eagerly, trying to get a look at his iconic entry.

Irvin has been with WWE for a very long time.  As per the 2023 draft, she now hones her craft at Raw. Currently, she is engaged to former United States Champion Ricochet.

WWE has been cooking The Rock’s return for quite some time now. It was first reported that the company has announced a former champion is set to return to the promotion. While fans had their speculations, the company did not reveal who the champion was until the last moment.

While his entry was sure electrifying, a lot went down when he met another former WWE Champion inside the Raw ring.

What happened when The Rock met another champion?

As stated, WWE had been teasing the return of a major former champion to WWE. While people thought it was going to be The People’s Champion, it was the Modern-Day Maharaja, Jinder Mahal. The arena was silent as no one expected his return and fans were not quite eager to welcome him. This made the former WWE champion angry. An infuriated Mahal started bashing the crowd of San Diego. This is when Johnson entered the arena.

A much-expected war of the words started between the two and the WWE icon held the upper hand. Just when things started to go haywire, a brawl broke out between the two and Johnson delivered his signature, People’s Elbow. Just when fans thought this was the end of his segment, he made a very big announcement. He dropped a not-so-subtle challenge for the current Tribal Chief Roman Reigns before leaving the ring. While Reigns is set to appear on the upcoming episode of SmackDown, it is still yet to be seen whether he will accept Johnson’s challenge.
