After Johnson’s football career had a disappointing start to it, he chose his family’s legacy of pro wrestling and started wrestling. Soon, he would find his way into WWE and become one of the biggest names on the roster. However, soon he would leave it again to join Hollywood to pursue another dream.

Dwayne Johnson would join Hollywood to become an actor. And through initial struggles, and massive hardships, he found his light, and rose to prominence. After several hit films, Dwayne Johnson would become a leading actor in the industry.

However, recently, he fell victim to a terrible situation. His mother, Ata Johnson, became involved in a devastating car accident. The Hollywood star appeared at the 2023 65th Grammy Awards, where he provided an insightful update on his mother’s health condition after the accident.

It was Johnson’s big appearance after being away from the spotlight for a long time. And while he had a great time with other celebrities, he also let the world know that his mother was fine.

What did Dwayne Johnson say about his mother’s condition after the accident?

While the host at the event asked Johnson about his mother’s condition, he was quite relieved to answer. Johnson claimed that she is currently better and appreciated the host asking the question. He further revealed that a phone call from a family member during dawn is never a good sign.

That was 3am when I get that phone call and you know, we know that when that phone rings at 3am, and it’s a family member, it’s not good.” He also further claimed how his mother was introducing herself to the paramedics as “The Rock’s mom” which helped the paramedic identify him in one go.

However, the good news is that Ata Johnson is currently fine, and recovering. But what exactly happened to the Hollywood star’s mom?

Johnson recently claimed that his mother is fine. However, when the accident took place, The Rock would go on to his Instagram handle and reveal details about the accident. As per him, such was the severity of the accident that the car suffered a beat-up hood and bumper, and a wrecked right fender.

The accident took place when her car crashed with that of a drunk driver. However, she escaped the situation scratch-free and is doing well currently
