Dwayne Johnson is a proud father of three amazing daughters. Recently, he posted a video on Instagram and addressed a very sensitive matter with his followers. The Rock spoke about his father and warmth and sincerity.

“We don’t have the privilege to call or even text them in person or give them a hug a kiss on the cheek and say hey I love you, happy father’s day, um and it was just my moment to acknowledge you guys out there because it’s a tricky thing that we have to contend with I feel we just as men were raised by our fathers in a specially lot of you guys out there like me who had a tough love, complicated relationship with our fathers”, said the Hollywood megastar.

Johnson explained the privilege that other people have as their father is alive, and unfortunately, his father is not. Johnson, through his video, highlights the importance of reconciling with their fathers before it is too late to express.

The Rock shared his personal experience of having issues with his father and a massive fight three weeks before he passed away.

He said, “i had that with my old man and i know a lot of you guys too. Also it’s tricky because they are not here now and we wish they were, i do. I wish he was here one more time, so i could say hey I love you happy father’s day thank you for raising me with the capacity which you did have”

The Rock regretted not having solved his issues with his father. He wishes if he could get just one more chance to hug and kiss his dad and tell him he loves him.

Johnson further explained that their relationship was different and there was “tough love” between the father-son.

Johnson says he’s a lucky man to have three daughters who express their love to him. Unfortunately for him, he couldn’t do the same for his father.
