WWE makes sure to hone the skills of the independent pro wrestlers that they sign, making them go through the Performance Center. Once they are fully trained, that is when they make their debut on NXT. And now a fourth-generation star has just made his debut for the black and gold brand.

Brogan Finlay, the son of WWE legend Fit Finlay, made his first step toward his journey to being a WWE superstar this past Friday night’s NXT live event in Tampa, Florida. And now he has joined a new generation of talent, alongside Ava Raine.

Brogan Finlay, the son of Fit Finlay and one of the wrestlers signed last December, had an interesting match as he faced Charlie Dempsey, who is actually the son of William Regal. This was a match that his parents had already had many years ago. In the end, it was Dempsey who took the victory in the fight between the two. With this debut, he is a part of the same brand that is managed by Ava Raine, the daughter of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. And it was Dempsey’s father, William Regal, who, under his authority as Vice President of Global Talent, appointed Raine as NXT’s new General Manager.

And while Brogan Finlay is finally on the roster of NXT, Dave Finlay currently works as a producer for WWE. Brogan Finlay broke into the wrestling business in 2021. At 21 years old, Finlay can boast of having worked for several promotions in the independent scene. This includes names such as ACTION Wrestling, Beyond Wrestling, and GCW, among others. In addition, he has also participated in some NJPW STRONG shows.

Finlay, in his last fight in action, noted that he was about to start a new chapter in his professional career. Meanwhile, he also said goodbye to Game Changer Wrestling fans after he participated in GCW ¿Si Or No? where he lost to Tony Deppen. Once the fight was over, Brogan announced that this would be his last match in the company. After his announcement, Jacob Fatu burst into the ring and unleashed a brutal attack on Brogan. The latter needed to be attended to by medical assistance at ringside.
