Dwayne Johnson is one of the most driven and ambitious people on the face of the earth. The Great One made his humble beginning with just seven bucks in his pocket. But his determination propelled him to amass a net worth of $800 million. Although Johnson is heavily associated with WWE and Hollywood, much of his success comes from his businesses.

One of his stable cash cows is his tequila venture, Teremana Tequila. The company recently boasted a massive achievement. However, according to a new report, it failed to land on the top 10 list of most popular tequilas.

While Johnson’s brand is on the list of best-selling brands, it has moved down to the 12th spot. Teremana Tequila’s Blanco failed to make the top ten list by two places. Furthermore, Teremana Tequila’s resposado ended up on the 15th spot.

So, which are the other brands that beat Dwayne Johnson’s Teremana Tequila? The top ten list of fastest-growing tequilas in the market include Cazcanes, Aldez, Tequila Alquimia, Wild Common, Tequila Cascahuin, Casa del Sol, Royal Emblem, Flecha Azul, Z Pepe, and Mijenta.

Despite failing to earn a spot on the top ten list, there is still a bright future for Johnson’s tequila company. The IWSR Drinks Market Analysis reports that younger consumers are more inclined to pick brands that are endorsed by celebrities. Anyway, in the midst of the increasingly growing popularity of tequila, Teremana Tequila continues to be a profit-generator for Dwayne Johnson.

Teremana Tequila recently celebrated a massive achievement, having sold 1 million cases annually. It was also reported that the company is planning to continue its on-premise operations as well as internationalize its brand.

But how exactly does the brand earn its success? To no one’s surprise, Dwayne Johnson plays a massive part.
