Myers has stated that working with Impact Wrestling has helped him through his singles career. He credited most of his success at Impact to his relationship with the showrunner of the promotion, Scott D’Amore. “He got to see me as a performer up close, so there was a mutual respect. And I grew up watching him. The respect, that’s the foundation of our relationship.” Myers further added that they both can be a bit stubborn at times, but eventually, they find a way out of it.
But it’s not just his relationship with the officials at Impact. He is also on good terms with AEW’s Talent Development personnel, Pat Buck. Not many fans might know this, but the two run a pro wrestling school down in Long Island. The Create Pro School started back in 2015 to train new talents. However, his time with Edge will be something fans will fondly remember.
