Former WWE Superstar, Mustafa Ali released a promotional video on X on December 21 from his official account. The clip was a promotional one, with Ali announcing that he would be starting his World Tour campaign and would be accepting bookings. With his unique promotional video, he has attracted 1.6 million views on the clip despite receiving no aid from his former employer, WWE, from which he had been recently released.

Ali’s last appearance at WWE was on September 21 when he was expected to fight Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship at NXT No Mercy. However, Ali was released from the promotion shortly after its merger with UFC. With this new update, Ali seems ready to take on the wrestling world yet again, offering his services as a free agent.

In a unique manner of announcement, he not only established his free-agent status but also took a dig at WWE. He says, “Esteemed citizens of the world. Today, I stand before you as a free man. A man no longer affiliated with his former party,” in what seemed to be a presidential campaign-style promo.
He declared himself as a savior for the indie circuit. Who knows, it might be an indicator of his new gimmick. The video also features other wrestlers from the indie circuit including former WWE Superstar Matt Cardona aka Zack Ryder. Will it be the beginning of a new rivalry in the indie circuit?
