‘The Whole Damn Show’ can still kick it with the young guns and the recent tweet trending on Twitter is just the proof we need. The 51-year-old veteran, Rob Van Dam, is a whole package when it comes to professional wrestling. Not only is the man doing flips from the top rope, but he is also giving his best performances after crossing 50.

Just like him, Ric Flair and The Undertaker have also shown that age is just a number when it comes to professional wrestling. He has proven that there is no better high-flying legend who can still bust out moves like him.

As you can see in this tweet, RVD performs a springboard Moonsault, perfectly from the top rope. Not only is his technique perfect, but the cheering from the fans and the announcers also proves the star power that RVD has.

Cheering fans behind RVD

One of the most underrated wrestlers during the WWE run, RVD generated a cult following who wanted to see the man win the WWE Championship again.

This cult following was behind ‘Mr. Monday Nights’ through his run in ECW, Impact! and now in Japan. His recent performance at CyberFight Festival has dug up a lot of comments from his loving fans.

Wanting to see him in AEW, many fans would love to see RVD have a feud with some of the younger talents in AEW. Hook, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and Dante Martin come to mind.

Here’s a fan restating the obvious. RVD was such an underrated gem of a wrestler who got overlooked by the WWE Universe as well as the higher-ups. While he has had tremendous matches with the likes of John Cena and Batista, they did not give him status equal to them.

Truly a marvelous wrestler, RVD has overcome all odds, and just like this fan says, we would be remiss to see such an amazing performer leave the squared circle. But even at this age, he doesn’t miss showing everyone who RVD is.

One fan chimed in, saying that RVD is one of his kind, which is exactly our meaning with this post. Being able to continue wrestling through all of his troubles with addiction is a tremendous feat.
