WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is held by WWE to celebrate its greatest stars every year. HoF is one of the major events of Vince McMahon’s company and fans love when the wrestling legends take them back down memory lane.

Despite this, several controversial statements roam around it every year. And the same happened when former wrestler Raven took a dig at WWE’s Hall of Fame and compared it with Impact Wrestling.

Recently, the wrestling legend gave an interview with ‘PWMania’. During the interview, he talked about several things including his health, his legendary feuds, his return, and many more. But, the highlight of the interview was the segment, where Raven opened up about the possibility of him being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year.

Raven said that he is not expecting that to happen at all as Vince McMahon never saw him that way. He even mentioned that he could bet everything he owns on his statement.

Talking about his possible Hall of Famer induction, Raven said, “I’m not expecting that to happen. I don’t think they see me that way. I don’t think Vince sees me that way. And obviously, if he saw me in that light, he would have used me better when I was there, so yeah, that’s not happening. I would almost bet everything I own that I’m not going to be inducted this year or any year in the future.”

Raven may be right about his reservations about whether McMahon will ever induct him into the WWE Hall of Famer. His career at WWE seals his statement.

Raven chooses Impact Wrestling over WWE

The former superstar had an amazing career outside the WWE. But when it comes to Vince McMahon’s company, the scenario was completely opposite.

Raven has captured more than thirty major accolades in his entire wrestling career. However, out of all these, only one belongs to the WWE ( Hardcore Championship). However, he won that accolade 27 times, but that title used to be defended 24/7 and carries little importance in terms of prestige or status in the company.

Later in the interview, Raven also compared WWE with Impact wrestling. He stated that Impact Wrestling means a lot to him. Comparing Impact Wrestling’s Hall of Fame ceremony with WWE, Raven star said that IW just selects one person every year for HOF, but in WWE, they choose as many as they want.

“I think that’s why the Impact thing means a lot to me. Also the Impact thing they only do one person a year. So that means a lot too, because you’re not doing five, six people are you know, half a dozen. Well, I guess five or six is half a dozen.”

This is not the first time that someone has criticized the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. Recently, the WWE legend Kevin Nash also said that the WWE Hall of Fame has lost its charm.

Despite Raven’s statement, several fans and critics are certain that as WrestleMania is going to Philadelphia next year, Raven will have a chance to get into the Hall of Fame as he is one of the most popular wrestlers in the city.
