Ariane Andrew, known as Cameron in WWE, was released by the company on May 6, 2016. She was with Vince McMahon’s company for five years up until that point.
Cameron was most well known as part of the “Funkadactyl” alongside WWE Superstar Naomi. During an interview with “Wrestling Inc. “I am very torn if I want to say this, but I actually reached out recently and was like, ‘I would love to come back’, and, will I be back? That’s to be determined, but I actually reached out to Vince [McMahon] himself and was like, you know what, I’m going to go to the person who’s at the top.
“I miss being in that world of wrestling. I saw Naomi three months ago, and I was like, you know what, if I have nothing, if I never got the championship, I feel like having the tag team titles would be awesome.”
She feels that she would feel fulfilled with a return venture and feel like she would get that feeling of accomplishment because the “Funkadactyls” were exceptional. However, she still feels there’s this void that is missing in her.
According to Ariane, Vince McMahon actually responded. Being the busy person he is, Ariane revealed that McMahon said that he’ll pass the request along to John Laurinaitis. For those who don’t know, Laurinaitis is the Head of Talent Relations in WWE.
