However, looking at the recent turn of events, it seems that another WWE champion is planning to return to the Royal Rumble. How? Let’s find out.

The superstar who hinted at her return is none other than Alexa Bliss. The former WWE women’s champion just hinted at her probable intentions through her Instagram story. Well, recently, she posted a story that featured herself in the Royal Rumble premium live event. Of course, it was of a previous event, but with that, she might have provided a sign that she was planning to return to the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Indeed, this could be the best spot to welcome her appearance and also the best possible way that the Stamford-based promotion could startle her fans around the globe. Just to let you know, Bliss had to walk away from the in-ring action when she knew that she was pregnant, and she hasn’t made her comeback to the squared circle since then.

The Royal Rumble match indeed serves the fans with a plethora of surprises, especially when they don’t expect them. However, a woman named Sasha Banks (aka Mercedes Mone) is expected by numerous WWE aficionados who think she could return to the WWE through the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

She left the company with Naomi in 2022 when both went away together, due to obvious internal tensions. And since then, both have not stepped foot in the WWE ring. Now Banks is on break due to an ankle injury that she suffered in the NJPW Resurgence in May 2023. There could be a chance that Banks will come back and surprise the WWE Universe at the women’s Royal Rumble.  Other than her, Naomi could also step foot in the Royal Rumble, the same way Mickie James did last year. Despite being the knockout champion of Impact, the fans saw her entering the WWE ring.

One take at a time

Discussing what I witnessed on every episode of Raw with all my friends was what initially kept me connected with WWE. The best day was when my hero stood tall against theirs at the 2011 Money in the Bank PLE.
