Ever since Ronda Rousey made her return to the roster after the short hiatus, it’s pretty clear that fans have turned against her. And soon people made the #FireRondaRousey trend on Twitter all over again. Another possible reason for garnering such a reaction, along with her Royal Rumble absence, is the heel nature that she carries with her. 

One who fell prey to this on the first day of Rowdy’s return was none other than Natalya. However, she recently took a dig at Rousey for her recent comments about WWE’s women’s tag team division. This was certainly the best time that the former SmackDown Women’s champion could find to hit back at the 36-year-old who keeps trying to beat her.

Without wasting the golden opportunity, Natalya jumped onto it, to make fun of the 36-year-old. However, she wasn’t the only one who clapped back on her incorrect comments.

After this week’s confrontation between the new ally of Ronda and Shayna Baszler with Natalya and Tegan Nox, things got heated up pretty fast. Even though the former UFC champion tried to beat the 40-year-old in the last SmackDown, she couldn’t. And all of that frustration was then seen in a form of a tweet where she targeted the women’s tag team division. 

The Rowdy One also drew a comparison between The Usos and Damage CTRL. She talked about how frequently the holders of the Men’s Tag Team title, defend their championship. But on the other hand, the women’s tag team champions have defended the titles twice in six months. This faulty statement by Ronda was then sarcastically criticized by the Guinness World of Records holder. 

She emphasized the Olympian’s statements and took a jibe at her past ‘conspiracy theory’ comments. All of this makes the feud between the two more interesting than ever. Now, people are eyeing a potential tag team match including these two WWE stars at WrestleMania 39.

The other side of the coin 

Ever since Baszler and Rousey joined hands together, the former always had to hear that she was living in the latter’s shadow. The same happened earlier this month when Rousey made her return. And this keeps on happening, especially when Baszler is facing Natalya. 

This also gives us a completely different angle to look at it. According to several rumors, one can also think about a match between Rousey and Baszler. There are many ways to go about it.
