WWE Survivor Series 2023 will feature team Damage CTRL taking on Team Charlotte Flair and Co. Damage CTRL, led by Bayley, consists of Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane, and Asuka. Conversely, Team Flair consists of Becky Lynch, Shotzi, and Bianca Belair. However, only Sky holds an impressive record among all the incredible women in the WarGames match.

The Survivor Series 2023 WarGames will be the second time the match type has appeared on the main roster since 2021.

Iyo Sky has been in every WarGames match

The feud between Team Flair and Damage CTRL started once Team Damage CTRL started trying to take over the women’s division. After Sane returned to Crown Jewel 2023 to ensure Sky retained her title against Belair, Damage CTRL grew stronger. Team Flair is trying to stop the heel group and the addition of Lynch could see them win. However, even The Man does not have a record like Sky.

Taking to social media, Sky shared an interesting post. Captioned, “I am the only women who had participated in every women’s War Games matches in WWE history.” This followed a collage of every WarGames match Sky has participated in. This is a record that no other woman in the upcoming match has.

Sky debuted in the WarGames match in 2019 and had her first win in 2021. Despite this, her participation in the NXT TakeOver 2019, 2020, and 2021 WarGames matches gives her an edge over the others. She also acknowledges this fact with the line, “IYO SKY is the genius of WAR GAMES.”

The match between both teams is highly anticipated, with fans speculating that Team Damage CTRL might take home the win due to the numbers game. However, Team Flair could prove to be a strong contender for the win after a hatchet was buried.

Flair and Lynch reunite for Survivor Series 2023

Prior to Lynch joining Team Flair, the two women had major beef on screen and in real life. The two who were once best friends disliked each other. After months of not feuding, Flair was the first to extend an olive branch to Lynch. Lynch’s acceptance to be part of Flair’s team could confirm the two ladies have buried the hatchet.
