“Go King Go!!”: Wrestling Community Cheers Following Positive Update About 73-Year-Old WWE Hall of Famer Who Suffered a Stroke Recently

While it might be toxic everywhere now and then, the wrestling community always comes together whenever something tragic occurs. That is exactly what happened when WWE legend, Jerry Lawler, was going through surgery a few days ago. But the operation went through successfully and Lawler has some positive news for every one of us.

The last time that Lawler scared the entire wrestling world was when he had a heart stroke during commentary in 2012. But since then, Lawler has been healthy and worked in different aspects of WWE as well. Now, after 11 years since that fateful episode of Raw, Lawler is once again hospitalized for a heart stroke.

But worry not, Lawler has made it successfully through his surgery and is in rehabilitation. He shared his current progress through Twitter as well, which made fans all around the globe happy. A legend in the business, The King worked in many positions in the business.

First as a wrestler, then a commentator, then a backstage official. He truly breathed the business through and through. Seeing him in this position, the community jumped on the chance to share their well wishes and blessings towards King’s recovery.

With all this support, one thing is clear: Lawler is not just a beloved legend in the eyes of fans but his co-workers as well. Support like this from other people in the business is unsurmountable. Lawler must be a pretty great guy to work with. That is the reason why his news of being in surgery for a heart stroke shocked everyone in the industry. Also, we know that Vince McMahon also might be praying for him, given their connection.
