Goldberg has a WWE contract which requires him to do only a couple of matches a year. However, those matches are huge matches, and allow him to earn significantly from this contract.

The WWE legend had a conversation with WWE’s The Bump, where he discussed the number of matches left on his contract. According to him, he has only two more matches remaining. After that, he might be a free- agent if he does not re-sign with the company.

“I got only two more matches on my deal so we’ll see what happens.”

Goldberg wants to face Roman Reigns or John Cena after Bobby Lashley

The conversation came up when Goldberg was asked if he was Team Cena or Team Reigns for the upcoming SummerSlam.

In fact, he wants to be the opponent standing across from them in the ring. First, he wants to take care of Bobby Lashley. However, following that, he wants to make John Cena or Roman Reigns his next “victims”.

“I am a fan of both of them, for what they’ve done individually. For what Roman has been able to do for the past couple of years. I think it’s fantastic, I think Paul Heyman has a lot to do with that. I would love a piece of Roman Reigns, maybe even more so would I like to get my hands around Cena’s throat.”

Considering he has more than one match left in his contract, he could have a match with both of them. However, it would be tricky to put him in a storyline with Cena and Reigns considering the feud between The Tribal Chief and the sixteen-time World Chamion has a high chance of not ending at SummerSlam 2021.
