The Undertaker is one of the best wrestlers in the world. While we have seen quite a few superstars who have launched themselves into the main event picture, The Undertaker is not one of them. Not only was he the hardest working employee in Vince McMahon’s company, but he also mesmerized the wrestling world with his various gimmicks.

Well, now after giving 30 years of his life to one profession and one company, The Undertaker is being rewarded by getting paid to talk. Not only is there going to be a podcast with him as the host, but he is also featured in the recent, Table for 3 show. Alongside his buddies from the Bone Street Krew, the Deadman reveals some of the juiciest wrestling stories of all time.

The Undertaker talks about going to see Papa Shango in Vegas

While telling the boys his story, The Undertaker said, “Early on, when I was still working with Warrior, this is like ’91. Anytime we were on the west coast, Jack Lanza was the agent. I think you’d come in as Papa Shango, then you left and you’re back in Vegas. Jack knew, as soon as I walk in Jack would go, ‘Do you plan on going to see the Bear tonight?’ and I go, ‘Yeah, well it depends on when I’m on Jack’ I’m in main event with Warrior, we should be on last right?”

He goes, ‘I think you and Warrior are going to be on third tonight.’ So I could catch a flight from LA and make it to Vegas by 1:00 AM. He picked me up at the airport and he dropped me right back off at the airport so I could make whatever other town in California I had to make. We never missed a show, that’s why he trusted me. He knew I wanted to go see you in Vegas and all Jack wanted was to hear the stories.

The Ultimate Warrior and The Undertaker’s feud in 1991

One of the weirdest periods for the company, the star power of Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage, was becoming stale for the fans and the match card. There was no Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels on the roster yet. And the only top stars remaining in the company were The Phenom and The Ultimate Warrior.

So logically, Vince put the two together. But this would lead to Warrior struggling to understand the Deadman’s gimmick. And the Warrior held the main event of SummerSlam hostage, which led to his firing.
