It was recently announced that Dwayne Johnson was joining the TKO group as an Executive member of the BOD. As per the official website of the TKO group, Dwayne Johnson became a part of the BOD on January 23rd. As a joining perk, Ari Emanuel gifted Johnson with complete ownership of Johnson’s in-ring name, The Rock. With the joining and the recent resignation of Vince McMahon, the BOD size now stands at 12. So, here’s a look at the life circle of Johnson from WWE superstar to corporate boss.

Dwayne Johnson’s journey from The Rock to TKO board

WWE Legend Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock took to Instagram on January 30th to share a clip of him visiting the TKO office to mark the official beginning of his journey with TKO. The clip was shared along with the caption, “My honor to join @TKOGrp Board of Directors (who owns @wwe & @ufc). An historic day of big business with deep and personal “life comes full circle” significance for me. I have the privilege now to sit at the table, that my grandfather and my dad helped to build. For Johnson, the gimmick carries high value for multiple reasons. It was the beginning of a career that transpired into great summits over the course of the next 20 years. Carrying on the popularity of his gimmick name, he entered Hollywood. Despite the struggles in his initial days, he paved his way into major projects including the Fast & Furious franchise and Baywatch.

Hollywood fame and success made him a global star and a face people believed in.
