A few weeks ago, rumors about Naomi rejoining the WWE were everywhere on the internet. But, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion had some other plans in her mind and is likely to appear for Impact Wrestling instead.

Although this news turned down several WWE fans, for the Impact Wrestling star Jordynne Grace, it seems like the news that made her day.

Impact Wrestling star is excited about Naomi joining the company

Recently, PWInsider exclusively reported that the former WWE women’s champion Naomi is set to debut in Impact wrestling. While WWE Universe is not thrilled to hear this news, the 27-year-old Impact star Jordynne Grace is quite happy with this.  

She came online and expressed her joy via tweet. Grace expressed her wish to compete against the two-time WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion by demanding Naomi hit her with a ‘rear view’ (Naomi’s WWE finisher).

Before the reports came out, it was rumored that Naomi would soon be returning to WWE. WWE fans are not quite happy with this new update as they were expecting Naomi to return to the WWE and join ‘The Bloodline’. 

Even though her WWE return rumors were all over the internet, still some fans and critics didn’t see it happening because of her controversial departure from the company.

Naomi’s controversial departure from the WWE

The former women’s champion was doing pretty well when she said goodbye to the WWE. She was the reigning women’s tag team champion with Sasha Banks (now Mercedes Mone). 

But, on the May 16th, 2022 episode of Monday Night Raw, Naomi and Banks walked out of the arena leaving their titles behind. And since then, WWE Universe didn’t see her in the WWE ring again.

However, it was rumored that the only reason Naomi was not returning to the WWE is because of Sasha Banks. And when Banks joined New Japan Pro Wrestling, fans were certain that soon they will witness her comeback.

But nothing happened and now Naomi has signed with the Impact Wrestling. There she will be competing inside the ring under the name Trinity Fatu.
