We all have our own ways to remember the departed. While some believe in the conventional methods, others pay tribute to calm theirs as well as the lost one’s soul. After Bray Wyatt recently left this world at 36, numerous tributes have poured in from every quarter. However, a rather recent one might make you shed a tear or two as it comes from one of his friends.

Because of his friendly personality, Wyatt has evidently made a lot of friends throughout his wrestling career. One of the lucky ones is the NWA superstar Jay Tha Dawg. Through his recent Instagram post, JTG revealed how he has paid an emotionally valuable tribute to his late friend.

JTG is not just a wrestling superstar but also works as an author. The sequel to his first book hit shelfs in 2016 called ‘Damn! Why Did I Write This Book Too: How to Play The Game’. The chapter ‘Then a Hero Came Along’ in the book talks about Wyatt’s off-screen personality. Through a story that Jay narrates in the chapter, we can get a picture of how Wyatt was a real-life hero.

In the chapter, JTG wrote about this one time that he was inside a car with Wyatt while they were road-traveling with Alex Riley and Big E. Two drunk teenagers driving another car hit the two cars. After driving Alex and Big E’s car off-road, the teenagers’ car also got flipped. While they were stuck in a dangerous situation, JTG wasn’t willing to extend a hand for help. He was afraid the upside-down vehicle could be explosively dangerous to be around. That didn’t stop Bray Wyatt from helping them, though.

I didn’t want to go nowhere near that ticking time bomb, but I couldn’t leave my boy Bray hanging. So, I… went over to the car to help him out. We pulled the driver out and got her away from the teenage-swiping-stupid-a**hole mobile. We sat her down next to her friend,” recollected the former Cryme Tyme member in his book.

Since this book launched in 2016, the original intent was to show the world how great of a person Wyatt is behind the screens. However, the wrestler revisited this memory to pay tribute to his late friend just hours after his tragic demise. He took to Instagram to tell the fans about the chapter and relive the story of their road travels together. In the caption of the post, the 38-year-old said, “I dedicated a whole chapter in my 2nd book so the world would know what kind of person you were off camera. Safe travels, my brotha.”
