Snoop Dogg was only the fourth wrestler to appear as a playable character. The other celebrities to appear before him were Limp Bizkit’s lead singer Fred Durst, legendary boxer Mike Tyson, and Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger.

2. Connection with Sasha Banks: Former WWE Champion Sasha Banks, known as Mercedes Mone in NJPW, is the first cousin of Snoop Dogg. Banks did not know this while she was growing up, but they got closer when Snoop Dogg helped her attend a Divas Battle Royale at WrestleMania.

Later, Snoop Dogg featured in the entrance song for Sasha Banks titled ‘Sky’s the Limit’. Snoop Dogg also made his WrestleMania appearance alongside Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 32, walking her down the ramp. It has been recognized as one of the best WrestleMania entrances of all time by WWE.

3. Hall of Famer: In the year 2016, the rapper was inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame class of 2016 as a celebrity superstar. It was the same year he walked his cousin Sasha Banks to the ramp.

WWE has stated that Snoop Dogg was inducted into their Hall of Fame due to his contributions toward the company. He has a dedicated web page on the domain of WWE.

4. WrestleMania appearances: The rapper has made many appearances in the wrestling show and the squared circle. His first appearance in the WWE show was at WrestleMania 24 in Orlando. Here, he served as Master of Ceremonies for a unique Lumberjill match.

He made many more appearances in WrestleMania later, with his latest appearance being at WrestleMania 39. Snoop Dogg even had an official match against The Miz that was unannounced.
