This episode of WWE SmackDown started out with all hell-breaking losses, thanks to The Bloodline. As things didn’t go as planned, one WWE star took advantage of the situation to claim a win in a match that didn’t even happen.

Playing the heel persona that the WWE Universe loves him for, this superstar took to social media to claim to be undefeated without performing. Now, that’s real heel thinking.

The first match of the night was supposed to be a singles match between Cameron Grimes and Grayson Waller. However, The Bloodline decided they needed to make an opening statement. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa laid waste to Grimes and WWE officials as they made their way to the ring.

This prompted Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, who were already in the ring, to flee. While walking to the ring, Jimmy did signal Waller and Theory to vacate the ring or else end up like Grimes. This resulted in the first match being scrapped, as The Bloodline wanted the airtime to talk. With Nick Aldis, the GM, present, SmackDown went into the second match of the night.

Taking the mic, the Wiseman Paul Heyman had something to say. The commotion led to the first match being canceled. Despite now having the match, Waller took to social media to boast about his win. He said, “Huge win tonight! Undefeated on Smackdown in 2024 #SmackDown #NebraskaSucks.”

It also seems he took an opportunity to continue his heel gimmick, sarcastically calling out Nebraska, where this week’s show is taking place, for being the place where his match got canceled. This shows how good a heel Waller is and how well he knows how to rile up the crowd. He has proven to be one of the best heels in the company.

The Bloodline has been disrupting SmackDown for weeks

This is not the first time The Bloodline has tried to hijack SmackDown. However, Aldis was sure to put them in their place. This is similar to what happened during the last episode when Roman Reigns interrupted the triple-threat match during the main event.

Furthermore, Aldis is sick of Reigns and The Bloodline doing as they please. He made it clear to Heyman that Reigns needed to be stopped, or he would put an end to it. Only time will tell what else The Bloodline will do before the Royal Rumble.

My passion for professional wrestling began when I saw Kane ripping the Hell in a Cell door off in the iconic 1997 match. I used to enjoy watching WWE re-runs at 5 in the evening when I got home from school. It was sort of a ritual for me.
