LA Knight continues to bring his charisma to the forefront, defeating Jimmy Uso in a match at Supershow last night. He also laid out Roman Reigns later on during the night during the latter’s bout against Sami Zayn. It might be a trailer for his highly hyped-up one-on-one bout with Reigns at Crown Jewel. However, even if it’s not the case, heading to that big night, it seems like Knight has his cheerleaders set. Apart from all his crazy fans, Knight has a silent supporter, too.

Much to the surprise of fans, Knight teamed up with John Cena at WWE Fastlane and it worked out splendidly. That said, Cena’s iconic rival during The Nexus’ heyday made his feelings known on Knight during an interview last year.

LA Knight has been a constant sensation in the world of WWE. Despite having an edgy start in the main roster, the superstar f.k.a Max Dhupri vehemently rose to the pinnacle of success as WWE changed their perception of the 40-year-old.

This charge by WWE is thoroughly led by fellow wrestlers and especially fans who have responded positively to his run. Wade Barrett added his name to Knight’s wellwisher’s list in a snippet from 2022.

Despite sharing a heated past with John Cena, the once Nexus leader didn’t hesitate to endorse Cena’s current partner, LA Knight.

The 43-year-old spoke in glowing terms of LA Knight. The Englishman even asserted that the time was long overdue for the SmackDown star’s success. Barrett said, ”Probably 18 months since he arrived in NXT, he’s a guy who should have had the spotlight on him for the past ten years. One of those rare cases that a guy has managed to slip through the cracks. Maybe he wasn’t the right face at the right time at various points in his career but I am thrilled for him that he hit so many home runs in NXT on this most recent trip there and it’s about time that the world if hadn’t seen him before in NXT, the world got to witness just how great he is.”

”One of the best entertainers and one of the best mic men I think we have in the entire industry and yeah I am his cheerleader So very happy to see him back. And the guy’s a damn megastar and he’s going to be really really big for WWE over the next few years.” Barrett continued as he gave his stamp of approval to The Megastar.

During the SuperCena era, the 16-time world champion was infamously beaten down by Nexus, signalling the rise of a hot new act. However, Cena stopped the stable’s effort to wreak havoc across the wrestling promotion during that time. It obviously didn’t sit well with the current commentator who later took jibes at Cena saying he never gets along with him even backstage.

He reiterated those claims back in 2014, when he went candid to confess he doesn’t like Cena. However, speaking of Knight, we need to see how many hearts he will win in the coming days with his terrific matches.
