Kevin Nash recently took a shot at WWE. The former wrestler publicly mentioned how he doesn’t like the way WWE is conducting its Hall of Fame events for a while now. Nash runs a podcast of his own where he keeps his fans updated about various topics. The wrestling legend also shares his opinions on a lot of things in the podcast. The latest episode of the podcast was no different.

While conversing on various other topics, The Hall of Famer also showed his dissatisfaction with the promotion. This discontent mainly concerned the manner in which WWE has been treating its Hall of Fame inductions lately.

During the time Nash was inducted into WWE, the way of induction was very different from the trend of the last few years. Unlike the latest Hall of Fame inductions, there was no ‘ring’ setup. Instead, the arena was filled with chairs for the audience to sit everywhere. Then, the open platform was cleared for the Hall of Fame inductee to finally give out their speech.

However, later it transitioned into a ‘ring’ setup, just like a regular WWE segment, where the inductees would stand for their speech.

When asked about his Hall of Fame ‘setup’ preference, Nash had none. However, the Hall of Famer mentioned the reason why he certainly dislikes the new ring-type style of the setup. “I don’t like it because of what happened to Bret (Hart). I’m sure that security-wise, that’s been taken care of,” said the former wrestler.

It is pretty obvious that security in such a setup concerns the Hall of Famer.

However, he also recalls this one incident that can be taken as a reference to why he doesn’t like the new setup for Hall of Fame inductions.

In his podcast, Nash mentioned how the mishap with Bret Hart formed his opinion that ‘in-ring Hall of Fame inductions’ is likely to be a bad experience. In the Hall of Fame class of 2019, WWE switched to a new way of induction. Bret Hart was called to induct his late brother-in-law wrestler, Jim Neidhart.

While the WWE Hall of Famer was giving a speech for his late tag team partner, a fan pounced on him. According to the reports, the fan had surpassed the security to jump into the ring and tackled Hart. Although security was able to rescue the former wrestler, this caused Kevin Nash to believe that perhaps WWE’s new way of induction lacks the security it would otherwise efficiently deliver.
