“I Had This Fetish” – WWE Legend Recalls Vince McMahon Putting Him in a Controversial Storyline

Vince McMahon is the brains behind the success of WWE and through the years he has put forward various storylines that have caught the attention of fans. The WWE Universe is aware that Vince McMahon will do anything to make a good storyline and entertain the fans.
And while sometimes fans absolutely love the idea or the storyline, sometimes they outright repel the idea. WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently revealed McMahon’s motives behind giving a storyline with Booker-T in the early 2000s.
During the storyline in 2005, Kurt Angle became obsessed with Sharmell (Booker-T’s real-life wife), with the Olympic Gold Medallist trying his chances with Booker T’s wife.

This particular storyline was difficult to watch, let alone perform in it. However, speaking on his podcast, ‘The Wrestling Machine’ confessed he was never comfortable while doing it.

Speaking on his podcast, ‘The Kurt Angle Show‘, the former WWE champ revealed why Vince McMahon handed this storyline to him.
Vince McMahon thought Kurt Angle had a “fetish”
During the podcast, Angle was asked about his controversial storyline which involved him, Booker-T, and his wife Sharmell. And Angle quickly cleared the air by saying that he hated it.
However, Angle also detailed why McMahon gave him this story, and he said that if McMahon felt anything about anyone, he would directly clear the elephant in the room.

By saying this, Kurt revealed why he thinks Mr. McMahon gave him this storyline. He said, “Vince is kind of a ribber, he’ll do stuff to mess with a little bit, to shove it in your face. He thought I had this fetish for black women.”

Eventually, Angle did the storyline but was confused and uncomfortable the whole time. Kurt confessed that he did it because he was a team player and always put the business first.
“I was not comfortable by any means. I had so much respect for Booker T and Sharmell. To do that and pretend I was stalking his wife, it was the worst angle I have ever done. It was the worst storyline I’ve ever done. I did it anyway because I’ve always been a team player, but I was not comfortable doing it.”

Seeing this, the new WWE fans must be surprised, but Vince McMahon back then had an edgy mindset.
